Once your friend signs up and meets the qualifying criteria for their service type, you receive your reward. The reward you get depends on whether your friend joins as an umbrella contractor, as a limited company or through our Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).
What reward do I get for referring a friend to Sapphire?
Your reward depends on the service your friend signs up for. There are three options:
- Umbrella contractor referral: £75 added to your wages
- Construction Industry Scheme (CIS): two free weeks of payroll services
- Limited company referral: a £200 voucher
Each reward is paid once your referred friend meets the qualifying criteria for their service. The best part? There are unlimited referrals, so you could qualify for unlimited rewards.
When do I receive my Sapphire referral reward?
You receive your reward once your referred friend meets the qualifying criteria for their service type, which depends on the Sapphire service they join.
- Umbrella and Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) referrals qualify after four weeks with Sapphire
- Limited company referrals qualify once the first Direct Debit is taken
You must still be a Sapphire customer at the point your friend hits the qualifying criteria to receive your reward.
Does the person I refer to Sapphire get anything?
Yes. Your referred friend gains access to Sapphire’s contractor services, including fast, accurate pay, responsive support and the benefits of working with an employee-owned business, including regular contractor bonuses depending on company performance.
Your friend can also refer others once they’re set up, which means they could access the same rewards you do.
How do I make sure I'm eligible for the referral reward?
To qualify for your reward, you need to be a Sapphire customer at the point your referred friend meets the qualifying criteria for their service type. Here’s what to check:
- Submit your friend’s details through the official referral form
- Make sure your friend completes the qualifying criteria for their service
- Stay a Sapphire customer until your friend hits that qualifying point
As long as those conditions are met, Sapphire arranges your reward.
