The famous hike is approximately 25 miles with an elevation of around 5200ft! The reason we set out to complete this massive challenge is to raise money for a fantastic local charity, Seashell Trust. The Seashell Trust is a charity for children with learning and sensory difficulties. All the money raised will be life-changing for those in need as the funds will go towards various equipment and things that can make a real difference to improve the lives of young people and children.
With a target of £2,000, we are delighted to have raised £1,473 so far. If you would like to donate, you still can, please just click here.
Here are some photos from the day…
Rachel Eaton, Accounts Apprentice at Sapphire commented “It was a tough day and there were some war wounds from the gruelling trek but it was all worth it, knowing it was for such a great cause!”
